Every week across Oklahoma City beautiful flowers from weddings, celebrations, and events are left behind when the lights come up and the guests go home. Petals of Light OK exists to make sure those flowers find somewhere meaningful to go next. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Edmond, Oklahoma — and what we do is beautifully simple. We collect donated flowers, reimagine them into hand-tied arrangements, and deliver them completely free of charge to seniors, veterans, women in shelters, cancer patients, and care communities who need a moment of unexpected beauty most. Because we believe beauty belongs to everyone. Because the look on someone's face when something beautiful arrives unexpectedly is the most compelling reason in the world to keep showing up.
Every Arrangement Has
a Destination
We serve seniors in memory care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and hospice settings. We deliver to veterans' homes and treatment centers. We bring arrangements to women's shelters, transitional housing, and cancer treatment centers. We partner with local organizations whose residents, patients, and guests are walking through something hard and need a reminder that the world outside still sees them.
Every community we serve receives our arrangements completely free of charge — always. Because dignity, beauty, and human connection were never meant to cost anything.
From Celebration to Connection.
What begins at a wedding reception, a corporate gathering, a church celebration, or any event where flowers are present continues long after the last guest goes home. We coordinate complimentary pickup directly with donors — florists, venues, coordinators, couples, and anyone with blooms to give — and our volunteers carefully reimagine those arrangements into something new. Made with intention. Made with prayer. Made with the genuine hope that what they create will walk into a room and change someone's entire day.

Our work is made possible by the generosity of people who choose to donate their event flowers, volunteer their time, or give financially to a mission they believe in. Every pickup coordinated, every arrangement assembled, and every delivery made is carried out with the same care and intention — because the people on the receiving end deserve nothing less.
We are always growing, always looking for the next community to reach, the next partner to welcome, and the next willing heart to join us.
