Petals of Light OK is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Edmond, Oklahoma on a mission to repurpose wedding and event flowers across the Oklahoma City metro area—transforming them into small bouquets that bring joy, comfort, and connection to seniors, memory care communities, veterans, and individuals in shelters or walking through difficult seasons.
Our Mission
Petals of Light OK believes that beauty should never end with the celebration. We exist to extend the life of event flowers and transform them into meaningful gestures of love for those who may feel unseen, isolated, or forgotten. Through the simple gift of a bouquet and a personal connection, we remind each recipient that they are valued, remembered, and deeply loved.
Our mission is rooted in compassion and guided by faith. We serve seniors in memory care, nursing homes, assisted living communities, long-term care facilities, hospice settings, and veterans’ homes across Oklahoma. We also partner with local organizations that support individuals facing hardship, ensuring that every bouquet carries encouragement, dignity, and hope.

Brides, florists, planners, venues, and coordinators choose to give flowers a second purpose and reach out to schedule pickup.
We gather flowers
After the celebration, we coordinate pickup and carefully collect arrangements for repurposing — always at no cost.
We re-design bouquets
Volunteers thoughtfully reimagine the flowers into hand-tied bouquets with care, prayer, and intention.
We deliver joy
Bouquets are delivered to senior living communities, memory care facilities, nursing homes, and veterans’ homes — reminding each recipient they are seen and valued.
